Dubai International Airport is the first to use dogs to detect the presence of coronavirus in passengers.
The animals do their job without contact with the passengers. The specimens are taken from human hands and placed in special containers that are given to dogs for “sniffing”.
The research showed 92% accuracy of this method.
Dubai has been open to tourists since July. Passengers are required to have a negative test for Covid-19, not older than 96 hours before arrival.
