Two space tourists will leave for the International Space Station in 2023, after an agreement was signed between RSC Energia (Russia) and Space Adventures Inc. (USA), according to a statement from the Russian company.

RSC Energia and Space Adventures Inc. have signed an agreement to conduct a short-term expedition of two spacecraft participants as part of the Alliance MS in 2023 to the Russian segment of the International Space Station, the statement said.

Under the agreement, one of the space tourists will go to Cosmos with a professional astronaut.

“During the expedition, one of the participants in the space flight, along with a professional Russian astronaut, is expected to enter the Cosmos from the Russian segment of the International Space Station,” the statement said.
